The minister for public works department in the Democratic Front government Bhujbal, announced that his social outfit Mahatma Phule Samata Parishad, will launch agitation against Aarakshan to prevent any motive of imparting anti-reservation policy through the film.
Bhujbal leading the cause against the Other Backward Castes (OBC) in Maharashtra said (DNA reports), “At the outset I would like to state that I have not seen the film. But if any body tries to use his/her freedom to initiate any campaign against reservation which encompasses almost 80% of the total population, they would be given a befitting reply."
However, he emphasised that the agitation will be held out to convey the message in a non-violent manner. Bhujbal who has always supported that the backward and suppressed sections of the society wants to cease all means that may affect the present reservation policy in India.
