The Dabangg director Abhinav Kashyap will be directing the film
movie Project 18, which will be co-produced by Viacom 18
Motion Pictures and Australian Production Company Temple
Productions. This film will be Australian filmmaker Bill Bennett's
first venture to India.

Kashyap told to PTI, “We have tentatively titled the film 'Project 18'. It is going to be a Hindi masala movie with a tinge of romance, action, comedy and thriller in it. The film be go on floors in the last quarter of this year and will be released mid next year. It will be shot in Australia."
Anurag Kashyap thinks that the film will launch a milestone in the history of cinema. While Kashyaps's film will be shot in Australia, Bennett's film will be shot in India. Viacom 18 intends to broaden the relation between the two countries.
Bill Bennett told, "My film will be shot in India. I am excited to do a film in a country which is known for its diverse culture and heritage. We are in the scripting stage and once we it is done the cast will be finalised."
Viacom 18 Motion Pictures COO Vikram Malhotra said, "we are delighted that our forthcoming film, directed by Kashyap will benefit from an extremely film-friendly Australia. With this we will win the hearts of millions of fans in both the countries."
