Abhishek, who has happily settled into domesticity poses a question, when asked what changes has the four years of marriage brought in his life, “Are we meant to change after marriage?''. He explains, ''I personally feel a good and a healthy marriage is one where your spouse doesn't expect you to change. I haven't changed as such nor has Ash. I still feel as if I was married yesterday."

It is not only Abhishek or Aishwarya who feel the way, the thought has also been transferred to father Amitabh Bahchan, who also admits that it seems as if the marriage happened just a few hours ago. All the excitement and the marriage details, family and relatives in and around a packed house, preparations, customs, rituals ... seems just like it all happened a few hours ago."
