Actor Amitabh Bachchan will be flying to Patna to watch his upcoming film Aarakshan with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of Bihar. The CM is an ardent fan of Mr Bachchan and expressed his desire to watch the film with Big B and director Prakash Jha.
Nitish Kumar and Prakash Jha are long time friends, the director was even seen campaigning for Nitish Kumar during the Bihar elections. Jha invited Nitish Kumar for the special screening of Aarakshan when the CM visited a new restaurant at Prakash's shopping mall in Patna. It was then when Nitishji expressed his desire to watch Aarakshan with Big B and Prakash.
Jha conveyed the Chief Minister's wish to Amitabh Bachchan who immediately agreed to fly down to Patna for a day despite his hectic schedule. The plan is still being worked out.
Aarakshan revolves around caste-based reservations in government jobs and educational institutions. The film, which releases on August 12, also stars Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, Manoj Bajpayee and Prateik Babbar.
