Amitabh Bachchan's Zanjeer remake coming soon

Following the trend of remaking Bollywood classics, Amit Mehra, son of late Prakash Mehra has decided to remake Amitabh Bachchan's golden movie Zanjeer. The 1973 blockbuster was directed by Amit's father Prakash Mehra.

Amit, who is keen to re-launch his father"s production company expresses his plans for the remake. Zanjeer is an iconic movie that fetched immense fame to Amitabh Bachchan. Zanjeer was Big B's first step towards success.

So naturally, you all must be thinking who would play Inspector Vijay Khanna's (Amitabh Bachchan) role in the remake. Abhishek? No, Amit doesn't have any such plans to cast Junior B in the movie.

Although Amit is now all set to go ahead with his remake plans, the cast and director of the film still remains a suspense that would hopefully get revealed in a month. Earlier, Amitabh's Don remake spilled quite a lot excitement amongst the audience. With the upcoming Agneepath remake, we are hoping to find something fresh in it.
