It has been screened at International Film Festivals held at Durban, Berlin and Sundance and has also won the Best Feature Film award in Durban.
However, the Gollapudi Srinivas National Award is one of prestigious awards in India. It has been instituted by the Gollapudi Srinivas Memorial Foundation, which was established in 1998 after the death of director Gollapudi Srinivas. Ever since the Foundation has been honouring one Bollywood director every year. Amit Rai, Praesh Mokashi, Aamir Khan are some of the B-Town filmmaker, who have received this honour.
