Chitrangada Singh hurt by her fans?

Bollywood's dusky beauty Chitrangada Singh might have realised the disadvantages of being a public figure after a horrible experience that she had to go through during Desi Boyz promotions.

It all happened during a promotional event of Desi Boyz in Pune when John Abraham, Akshay Kumar and Chitrangada Singh were performing in a mall. Despite many security guards, things went awry and the crowd was trying to reach out to the actors. The crowd was way beyond the capacity of the mall and it was very difficult to control over 4,000 people at one go. In this rush Chitrangada hurt her ankle. But fortunately the actress escaped with few scratches.

Chitrangada told Mid Day, "I have never seen so many people together in my life. Plus they were so aggressive that they started pushing the railings and even got into a scuffle with the security guards.
I realised then how serious the situation was. There was a point when I fell and almost got groped, but thankfully Akshay was right behind me and he bailed me out."
