The LIFF festival will continue till July 12 and will celebrate the growing era of alternative Indian cinema, a world beyond Satyajit Ray and Bollywood. It will present the world of cinema which is more exciting, adventurous and volatile and gives one the real view of modern India.
The festival will be opened by Delhi Belly, co-produced by Aamir Khan Productions and UTV Motion Pictures, and will move ahead showcasing the work of filmmakers like Anurag Kashyap, Rituparno Ghosh, etc.
Singer-composer Raghu Dixit will perform before the screening of film Autograph on July 12, the closing night.
Opening with Aamir Khan productions' Delhi Belly, starring Imran Khan, the second edition of the London Indian Film Festival (LIFF) promises to present a bigger and bolder Bollywood. Delhi Belly will have its world premier on June 30.
