'DK Bose' drags Censor Board into trouble

By Kalyani Prasad Keshri

From the day of its release the song 'DK Bose' from the film Delhi Belly has been creating constant news. The recent update informs that this song picturised on Imran Khan, Vir Das and Kunal Roy Kapoor has got an overwhelming response from some of the music lovers. However this has put the Censor Board into trouble.

Lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya has very smartly played with words to make the song decent enough, even though it sounds of a Hindi cuss. Though the song is ranking high on the chart buster, there are a section of people who are really angry with the Censor Board for allowing the song to be screened in theatres along with 'U' certified films and to be played on TV.

They view that the song will be a bad influence on the youth. The Information and Broadcasting Ministry has now sent a formal mail to the Censor Board questioning their nod to Delhi Belly and the song 'DK Bose'. The angry masses now demand an explanation from the board for passing a song with a cuss under 'U/A' certificate.

The song has been sung and composed by Ram Sampath.
