Kareena is not Madhur's Heroine; states UTV

Madhur Bhandarkar's film Heroine has become a package of false news. While recently actress Kareena Kapoor agreed to a leading daily that she has been signed up for Madhur's Heroine, UTV Motion Pictures, the producers of the film, deny to any such development.

After the speculations were rife that actress Kareena Kapoor is being paid 8 crores for Heroine, UTV decided to clear the air. The production house issued a statement stating that the cast of Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine has not yet been finalized. “We would like to clarify that no casting has been finalized for Heroine at all. We further wish to state that no financial terms have been agreed upon and definitely not even close to the figures quoted in the articles today," UTV statement read.

Heroine got into a casting saga when actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan quit the film due to her pregnancy. Since then the makers have been looking put for a suitable replace for playing the bold character in the film.
