Malaika
Arora
Khan
to
undergo
nasal
surgery
for
inflamed
sinuses
Malaika
Arora
Khan
has
been
under
the
weather
for
the
last
three
weeks
and
now
it
has
become
so
bad
that
she
has
decided
to
go
in
for
surgery
for
acute
sinusitis.
The
actress
has
always
had
a
deviated
septum,
which
causes
the
problem.
She
has
lived
with
the
condition
since
childhood
but
it
has
gotten
so
bad
in
the
last
two
months
that
she
has
no
option
but
to
get
surgery.
From
bad
to
worse
The
bada
pardah's
Munni
has
been
travelling
a
lot
in
recent
times.
She
has
been
to
Bangkok,
Hyderabad
and
Udaipur
and
shooting
non-stop
for
her
dance
reality
show
Jhalak
Dikhla
Jaa.
She
had
no
time
to
go
to
a
doctor.
In
the
last
week
it
got
so
bad
that
she
lost
her
sense
of
hearing
and
voice
completely.
She
stopped
meeting
people
over
the
last
two
days
as
she
couldn't
hear
anything
or
talk."
Now
her
ENT
specialist
has
advised
that
she
have
the
operation
without
any
further
delay.
Says
a
close
close
to
Malls,
"She
was
to
attend
an
event
by
Vishal-Shekhar
in
Delhi
today
but
had
to
cancel
it.
She
has
been
advised
against
air
travel
as
air
pressure
aggravates
the
condition.
The
pollution
in
Mumbai
and
dust
on
the
sets
she
shoots
for
are
also
some
of
the
reasons
her
sinus
has
become
so
bad."
Apparently
Malaika
is
still
in
two
minds.
The
source
adds,
"She's
told
her
specialists
that
she
would
like
to
do
some
alternate
healing
treatment
like
homeopathy
before
she
takes
a
final
call.
Malaika
earlier
had
done
an
Art
of
Living
course
a
few
years
ago
and
had
got
completely
cured.
But
the
fact
is
she
might
have
to
go
for
an
operation
soon
as
her
condition
is
worsening."
Malaika
admits,
"I
might
be
having
an
operation
soon,
according
to
what
my
ENT
specialist
recommends."
