Though
the
Indian
Air
Force
has
held
back
the
no
objection
certificate
to
Pankaj
Kapoor's
Mausam,
the
censor
board
has
decided
to
give
it
a
clearance
and
a
go
ahead.
The
Air
Force
had
earlier
demanded
a
few
changes
in
a
fight
sequence
in
Mausam.
However,
the
Central
Board
of
Film
Certification
(CBFC)
has
decided
to
give
a
'go
ahead'
to
the
film,
ignoring
the
IAF's
demands.
Mausam
will
be
issued
a
censor
certificate
on
September
13.
Speaking
to
a
leading
newspaper,
the
chief
executive
officer
of
the
censor
board,
Ms
Pankaj
Thakur
said,
"The
CBFC
has
nothing
to
do
with
the
so-called
NOC.
We're
given
to
understand
that
the
Air
Force
wants
certain
cuts
in
the
film
as
per
an
MOU
signed
between
the
producer
and
the
Air
Force.
The
CBFC
was
not
a
party
to
any
such
agreement."
Mausam,
starring
Shahid
Kapoor
and
Sonam
Kapoor
in
the
lead
roles
will
hit
the
theatre
on
September
16.
