Ace
director
Ram
Gopal
Varma
was
already
aware
of
the
risk
factor
that
his
upcoming
film
Not
A
Love
Story
carries,
therefore
he
had
already
filed
a
Caveat
in
the
High
Court
to
avoid
any
kind
of
stay
on
the
release
of
the
film.
However,
looks
like
nothing
seems
to
be
working
for
Ramu.
First
it
was
South
actress
Maria
Susairaj
who
wanted
to
see
the
film
to
give
her
approval
for
the
release
and
now
it
is
Jerome
Matthews
who
has
sent
a
legal
notice
to
RGV.
The
notice
sent
out
to
Varma
bars
him
from
releasing
Not
A
Love
Story.
Jerome
Matthews,
who
has
been
in
prison
for
the
past
10
years
for
killing
Neeraj
Grover
wants
the
release
of
the
film
to
stop
as
he
feels
that
he
has
been
projected
in
a
negative
light
in
the
film.
He
accused
Ram
Gopal
Varma
and
the
producer
Sunil
Bohra
of
believing
the
exaggerated
reports
put
out
by
the
media
and
not
verifying
facts
with
him.
On
the
other
hand
RGV
and
Sunil
Bohra
have
been
claiming
that
the
film
is
a
fictional
one
and
is
only
inspired
by
Grover's
case.
It
is
not
portraying
the
story
of
Maria
or
Jerome
in
any
manner.
The
makers
of
the
film
clear
the
air
by
saying
that
Not
A
Love
Story
has
nothing
to
do
with
any
person
living
or
dead.
However,
Jerome's
notice
stated
that
he
has
ample
evidence
that
the
film
is
based
on
the
Neeraj
Grover
murder
that
took
place
on
7
May
2008.
He
is
concerned
that
the
release
of
Not
A
Love
Story
will
hamper
the
image
of
his
family.
Jerome
has
also
appealed
against
the
judgement
and
it
has
been
approved.
The
notice
finally
directed
that
all
publicity
material
should
be
withdrawn
within
24
hours
and
the
release
of
Not
A
Love
Story
should
be
stopped
else
Ramu
will
have
to
face
severe
legal
action.
Bangalore
Mirror
quoted
Ram
Gopal
Varma,
“Our
lawyers
are
studying
the
notice
and
we
will
give
an
appropriate
reply
in
a
couple
of
days."
