Pooja Bhatt praises Goa DGP for Singham screening

Actress Pooja Bhatt has all praise for Goa DGP Aditya Arya, who launched an initiative for image makeover of the police force by showcasing Bollywood movie Singham. The Bollywood star said that she was feeling proud about the gesture of the police officer.

On Wednesday, Pooja Bhatt was addressing a press conference to announce the South Asian Film Festival (SAFF), when she lauded the Goa DGP. The actress said, "It is something to feel satisfy about. I am basking in glory although I have not produced the film." Pooja added, “The movie is really a good piece of work and Ajay Devgn is an inspiration to many."

However, Singham is a story of an honest police officer and Aditya Arya had held a special screening of the film for the state police force, whose image has taken a beating over a period of time owing to the allegations of sexual abuse, drug trade and dereliction of duty. The screening was part of an exercise launched by the top cop to inculcate discipline in the force.
