Priyanka Chopra to play Sarojini Naidu in her next

Fashion's hot and glamorous Priyanka Chopra is all set to shed her sexy avatar. She is now all set for a de-glamorous look for her forthcoming film Maqtassar.

The film spans three eras: pre-independence (1910s), post-independence (1960s) and the current times (2012); with Priyanka's character based on the legendary poet and freedom fighter, Sarojini Naidu (The Nightingale of India). Priyanka, who plays the lead in the film, will have to sport deglamourised clothes-mostly simple yet bright-colored saris-to justify her character. Priyanka is busy studying the character-absorbing in the design, gestures and fashion.

Priyanka Chopra is one of the very few Bollywood actresses, who have been experimenting with her looks in every film. Whether it's Fashion's glamorous role, What's your Raashee's twelve different avatars, Love Story 2050's alien look or Dostana's bikini babe, Piggy Chops have left no stone unturned to give a fresh look to her role.
