Few days left for Shahrukh Khan's Ra.One release, but unending hurdles are putting the entire cast and crew under pressure. Recently, television producer and script writer Yash Patnaik has moved to the Bombay High Court claiming that the film Ra.One was originally conceptualised by him.
He charged the makers of Ra.One for copying his idea and thus violating the copyright act. Patnaik claimed that he had put in endless efforts to chalk out the entire superhero concept on December 26, 2006 and he had registered the concept with the Film Writers Association.
Division Bench of Chief Justice Mohit Shah and Justice RS Dalvi will be pronouncing the order on the plea on Friday. According to DNA reports, Patnaik claimed that he was shocked to see Shahrukh Khan wearing the same costume as his superhero did when the promos came out in January. He found many similarities between his concept in the film that proved the fact that it was a plagiarised one.
In an answer to the entire episode, Khan"s counsel Dr V Tulzapurkar stated that it is just Patnaik's tactic to blackmail the Ra.One team members.
