Raj Kapoor family touched by IIFA's gesture

Raj Kapoor's sons have expressed their happiness after the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA)'s decision to honour the legendary actor. IIFA and Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) will jointly host a tribute to the showman on June 26 in Toronto.

IIFA-TIFF will showcase a retrospective film series of the showman titled 'Raj Kapoor and the Golden Age of Indian Cinema. It will screen Raj Kapoor's movies during the six weeks film festival.

Raj Kapoor's elder son Randhir Kapoor said that he is excited by the gesture of IIFA and TIFF for honouring his father. Rishi Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor also thanked the IIFA-TIFF. However, Raj Kapoor classics like Aag, Barsaat, Boot Polish, Shree 420, Jis Des Mein Ganga Behti Hai, Sangam, Mera Naam Joker, Bobby, Satyam Shivam Sundaram etc. will be screened at the retrospective film series.
