Ranbir Kapoor denies cashing on Kapoor Khandan's stardom

Actor Ranbir Kapoor, who has been promoting his upcoming movie Rockstar, has denied cashing in on Kapoor Khandan's stardom. The Bollywood star claims that he has worked hard to create his own identity in the industry and he is glad that he has made space for himself with his acting skill.

Ranbir Kapoor was attending the publicity event of the film Rockstar in Jalandhar when he spoke about his success. "Whatever I have achieved so far is all due to my hardwork. When I started my career, people used to know me by my family's name but now I am happy I have my own identity now," the PTI quotes him as saying.

The Rockstar hero says that the secret behind his success is that he puts his heart and mind into every project. Ranbir Kapoor added, "People used to say that I am Neetu and Rishi Kapoor's son and Raj Kapoor's grandson. Now, people know me by the name of Ranbir Kapoor and this is all due to sheer hardwork."

However, Ranbir Kapoor debuted in Bollywood films five years ago with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saawariya. So far he has acted in nine films and Rockstar is his 10th film. He has been touring several cities across the country to promote the flick. He has very high expectations from it.
