Ranbir Kapoor to catch Messi's action from the crowd

While all Indian girls go gaga over Ranbir Kapoor, the actor falls weak on his knees for none other than the footballer Lionel Messi. Ranbir the soccer-crazy star is taking time off from his Rockstar promotional activities to catch Messi in action at the Salt Lake Stadium, in Kolkata, on September 2.

The rockstar however has no plans to watch the match between Argentina and Venezuela from the VIP stall. Ranbir will be seen enjoying the football match with director Anurag Basu, who informs that they will not be watching the match from the VIP stall. “Public ke saath match dekhne ka mazaa hi kuch aur hai," he says.

Basu and Ranbir has recently present in Kolkata for shoots of their film Barfee. The director informs that though it was the first time that the crowd of Kolkata saw Ranbir in crowded places like Phool Bazar and Howrah Bridge, they behaved exceptionally well. Ranbir felt very comfortable in the city. Both of them requested Rockstar director Imtiaz Ali to free the actors from any kind of promotions on September 2. Basu says that Ranbir is a huge Messi fans and not seeing the match is not an option.

Basu and Ranbir have already chalked out their plans for the day, which also includes personal meeting with the football star Lionel Messi. Well, it will definitely be a scene to watch. What say people?
