Ranbir
Kapoor,
who
has
received
mixed
response
for
his
recent
movie
Rockstar
directed
by
Imtiaz
Ali,
has
denied
the
reports,
which
claimed
that
the
actor
wanted
the
filmmaker
to
direct
the
screen-adaptation
of
Chetan
Bhagat's
2
States.
The
Bollywood
actor
says
that
the
reports
are
false
and
not
true.
Speaking
to
a
leading
daily,
Ranbir
Kapoor
said
that
Sajid
Nadiadwala
has
offered
him
2
States
but
he
has
not
finalised
the
deal
yet.
The
actor
is
yet
to
read
the
script
and
he
is
not
teaming
up
with
Imtiaz
Ali.
The
29-year-old
doubts
whether
the
filmmaker
is
even
aware
of
the
book.
2
States
was
earlier
offered
to
Shahrukh
Khan
and
it
was
reported
that

Bharadwaj
would
direct
the

However,
they
left
the
film
for
the
reasons
best
known
to

decides
to
play
safe
by
claiming
that
he
is
not
concerned
about
why
they
opted
out
of
the
movie
and
when
the
project
fell
in
his
laps,
nobody
was
involved.
However,
the
film
2
States
revolves
around
the
story
of
a
north
Indian
guy,
who
is
in
love
with
a
south
Indian
girl.
