Ranbir Kapoor shoots for an item number

Actor Ranbir Kapoor took some time out from his busy shooting schedules for his films Rockstar and Barfee and has done his first ever promotional video for Vikas Bahl's kids flick Chillar Party. This will be the first time that an item song is being shot for kids flick.

Chillar Party's music has been composed by Amit Trivedi. This particular song which features Ranbir is a mix of street instruments, local voices and dialect. The song has been choreographed by Bosco Ceasar who has mixed street dancing with contemporary style. The song has been sung by Amit and his mother.

Director Bahl told to PTI, “Ranbir saw the film and loved it. Thats when we requested him if he would do an item song for the kids and he loved the idea, and readily agreed."

Ranbir Kapoor will don a tapori style in the song. His character in the song is inspired from one of the characters in the film Chillar Party. Ranbir has been bonding with the kids in the film and has also been inspired by some of their moves during the shoots.
