Ranveer Singh becomes fans' favourite

There are more awards to come on the way of the new-bee Ranveer Singh, who debuted with last year's commercial hit YRF film, Band Baaja Baaraat. After collecting all the best debutant awards, it seems like there is no stop for Ranveer.

The actor becomes the first recipient of the award at 'Jeeyo Bollywood Awards', which is being handed over to the stars by some random fans, chosen by a lucky draw. Ranbir Kapoor and Salman Khan follow the list, who will be handed the awards.

This award concept was developed by UTV Movies and PVR Cinemas. The awards are purely based on the votes sent by the mango people. Ranveer Singh bagged the Talent of the Year award at the first Jeeyo Bollywood Awards.

One among the public, who vote for their favorite stars, will get a chance to hand over the particular trophy to the winner of the category. Mumbai-based financial advisor Shashi Kataria met her idol, the Band Baaja Baaraat hero and was overwhelmed on meeting him.

She told (Mid Day), "I loved Ranveer's comic timing in BBB. Despite it being his debut film, he has performed exceptionally and is sure to reach great heights."
