Rishi Kapoor gets slapped eight times?

Bollywood's yesteryear actress Padmini Kolhapure recalls her most memorable and unforgettable takes during her films' shooting. While talking about her 1982's Raj Kapoor's film Prem Rog, Kolhapure remembers a scene where she had to slap Rishi Kapoor.

She claimed that it was very weird to slap a superstar like Rishi Kapoor on-screen since she herself was a kid in the industry at that point of time. The scene was, Rishi Kapoor had to get slapped by Padmini Kolapure when he declared his love for her.

"When Rajji said 'action', I swung my arm and my palm made contact with Rishi's cheek. Rajji was still not satisfied. He said, 'Not lightly, Padmini. Go all out,'" Padmini Kolhapure said to Mumbai Mirror.

Since, the perfection in the scene was missing, Padmini had to undergo eight retakes of the scene.
