Salman Khan congratulates Aishwarya-Abhishek

Actor Salman Khan never fails to surprise all with his Dabangg attitude. When the actor was asked to comment on ex-girlfriend Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's pregnancy, the actor unhesitatingly congratulated the couple and the Bachchan family for the good news.

“I would like to congratulate Abhishek and Aishwarya," Salman told the reporters at an event, where he and the Chillar Party gang launched a Blackberry application. The actor in his usual humourous mood told that he hopes the couple make a whole football team. Adding more to his wishes, Salman declared himself as chacha (uncle) of the soon-to-be born baby. He congratulated Amitabh Bachchan on becoming a grandfather.

Aishwarya and Salman shared a love relationship, back in 1999. A few years later they parted ways. Aishwarya then dated Vivek Oberoi for a while, when she actually found her true love in Abhishek Bachchan. The couple got married on April 20, 2007.
