Till
date
it
was
actor
Salman
Khan
who
gifted
his
handmade
paintings
to
his
friends
and
colleagues,
but
now
it
is
he
who
has
been
painted
in
zero
gravity.
Ankita
Joshi,
an
ardent
fan
of
Salman,
considers
him
her
lucky
charm.
She
chose
to
paint
the
actor's
character
Chulbul
Pandey
(Dabangg)
as
her
first
zero
gravity
painting.
Ankita
Joshi,
who
will
possibly
get
a
Guinness
Book
Of
World
Record
title,
unveiled
Salman's
special
painting
on
Saturday
(09th
April,
2011).
Ankita
found
this
interesting
zero
gravity
concept
while
she
was
meditating.
She
felt
as
if
she
was
floating
in
the
air.
From
then
onwards,
the
girl
did
all
to
fulfill
her
dream
to
paint
her
hero
in
Zero
Gravity.
Ankita
Joshi,
27-years-old
student
of
Sophia
Polytechnic
Applied
Arts,
started
her
training
with
Flight
instructor
Dr
Howard
Chipman
and
Former
NASA
and
US
Air
Force
trainer
Veronique
Koken
and
did
all
that
an
astronaut
does
before
going
to
space.
She
was
trained
for
6
years
to
get
ready
to
paint
in
space.
She
painted
in
Florida
USA.
Talking
about
her
experience
in
space,
Ankita
told,
“Everything
from
the
canvas
to
the
crayon
is
floating.
We
tried
to
fix
the
canvas
with
rods
but
even
that
didn't
help.
Also
I
would
constantly
bang
my
head
on
the
ceiling.
The
gravity
that
you
experience
there
is
2.5
times
that
on
earth
and
your
skin
and
internal
organs
like
kidney
experience
a
downward
pull.
Though
I
was
trained
in
a
simulator
for
such
conditions,
your
health
can
go
for
a
complete
toss."
Ankita
paid
15
Lakhs
for
her
training
and
gave
an
additional
payment
of
1000
dollars
for
spoiling
the
interiors
of
the
spacecraft
with
her
colours
flying
all
around.
After
achieving
her
goal,
Ankita
wants
to
gift
her
painting
to
Salman
Khan.
