Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi returning as Munna, circuit

Actor Sanjay Dutt is once again teaming up with actor Arshad Warsi for the third instalment of the hit series Munnabhai. Producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra has confirmed that the duo will play Munna and circuit in the movie Munnabhai Ki Aatma Katha, which was earlier titled Munnabhai Chale America.

It was rumoured earlier that Vidhu Vinod Chopra had planned to drop Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi from the third instalment of Munnabhai as the duo had grown old and were not suitable for the roles. It was also reported that Aamir Khan and Sharman Joshi would replace them in the upcoming movie.

But Vidhu Vinod Chopra has now slammed the rumours and confirmed casting Sanjay and Arshad for Munnabhai 3. Talking to the PTI, the producer said, "Sanjay and Arshad are returning to play Munna and Circuit. We are developing the script right now." He added, "The film should start by 2012."
