Shahid Kapoor in Tom Cruise avatar coming soon

Actor Shahid Kapoor finally, has hit the the biggest project of his career. With his charming looks relevant to Tom Cruise, Shahid is all set to become the Indian Tom Cruise that would be the biggest surprise to all his fans.

Shahid has bagged the remake of Cruise"s 2010 romantic action comedy Knight And Day. Fox Studios has decided to cast Shahid Kapoor for the film since they feel that the young actor has 'immense potential' to play Cruise's role.

“Fox Studios feels that Shahid Kapoor has immense potential to carry out Tom Cruise"s histrionics convincingly. They find him to be an actor who can portray a gamut of emotions if and when required," a source informed Mumbai Mirror.

The film Knight and Day was a romantic comedy, released in 2010 that follows the adventures of Roy Miller (Tom Cruise), a spy on the run, and June Havens (Cameron Diaz), a car restorer. It was directed by James Mangold.

The remake of the Hollywood version would be directed by Siddharth Anand and is ready to rock the screens by 2012.

So here comes our chocolate boy Shahid with his new Tom Cruise avatar to challenge and pose a threat to all the A-listed actors of Bollywood.
