Superstar
Shahrukh
Khan
was
scheduled
to
visit
Patna
in
Bihar
to
promote
his
forthcoming
film
Don
2
today.
But
the
publicity
event
titled
'The
King
Is
Back'
has
been
postponed
over
security
issues.
According
to
reports,
the
organiser
of
the
event
has
blamed
the
local
administration
for
delaying
the
publicity
of
the
movie.
In
an
SMS
sent
to
reporters,
organiser
Spice
Bhasha
has
confirmed
the
news
of
postponing
Don
2
promotion.
"Police
and
local
administration
prevent
Shahrukh
Khan
from
landing
in
Patna.
We
were
ready
to
take
off
from
Mumbai
when
local
administration
said
that
they
will
take
action
against
people,
who
bring
Shahrukh
Khan
to
Patna," the
PTI
quotes
Bhasha's
SMS.
Meanwhile,
Patna
senior
superintendent
of
police
Alok
Kumar
has
rubbished
the
charges.
Talking
to
PTI,
Alok
Kumar
said
that
Shahrukh
Khan
might
have
deferred
his
visit
because
of
visibility
problem
at
the
Jaya
Prakash
Narayan
International
Airport
in
Patna.
He
added,
"We
have
made
all
security
arrangements
for
the
show."
However,
Shahrukh
Khan
was
to
kick-star
the
promotion
of
the
film
Don
2
in
Patna
today.
Then
he
was
scheduled
to
move
on
to
other
non-metropolitan
cities.
But
there
was
a
stampede-like
situation
at
the
venue
in
Patna,
where
SRK
was
scheduled
to
interact
with
mediamen
during
his
visit.
Disappointed
fans
dispersed
as
the
news
of
the
cancellation
spread.
