Superstar
Shahrukh
Khan
launched
the
digital
avatar
of
G.One
yesterday
(03
October).
The
Bollywood
actor,
who
has
roped
in
UTV
Indiagames
to
design
a
social
game
based
on
the
film
Ra.One,
says
that
it
would
help
in
marketing
the
film
as
well
as
entertaining
the
users
in
the
digital
space.
Shahrukh
Khan
seemed
all
thrilled
as
he
unveiled
the
first
superhero
social
game
of
India.
The
King
Khan
told,
"We
are
bringing
in
the
country
the
first
superhero
social
game.
It
has
been
conceptualised
to
ensure
it
reaches
everyone.
Gamers
will
also
get
to
engage
with
G.One...
understand
his
abilities
and
immerse
in
the
game
and
become
superheroes."
Meanwhile,
Shahrukh
Khan
added,
"People
talk
about
marketing
a
movie
by
putting
posters
or
banners
everywhere
and
giving
interviews.
I
feel,
the
social
game
platform
is
an
interesting
marketing
concept
and
besides
that,
it
will
engage
audiences
and
give
them
information
and
knowledge
about
the
movie
in
an
entertaining
way."
However,
SRK
will
launch
this
Ra.One
game
across
all
the
popular
social
network
Facebook
and
other
gaming
platforms
like
Nokia
Ovi,
Android,
Apple
and
others.
"It
has
been
observed
that
50
per
cent
of
all
users
on
social
networking
platforms
play
games," UTV
Indiagames,
CEO,
Vishal
Gondal
said.
A
special
version
of
the
game
will
also
be
launched
for
DTH
