Shahrukh Khan's Ra.One premiere - a charity auction

Here comes the King Khan and his Chammak Challo Kareena to show the world Ra.One's grand premiere at Dubai"s Grand Cineplex on October 24. While the premiere will be a ticketed event, an auction event will be organised for special invitees. The proceeds from the event will be handed over to Rashid Pediatric Therapy Centre.

Infact, Shahrukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal will walk the red carpet at Grand Cineplex on the same day. The actor is leaving no stone in promoting his film, attending as many as seven press conferences in the last two weeks. Co-produced by Red Chillies Entertainment with a budget of an estimated Rs 160 crore, Ra.One is being touted as one of the most expensive Bollywood film.

According to Shahrukh, 'Ra.One" is the modern, new age technology version of the mythological “Raavan", who was a mixture of ten different evil characters.
