Vidya Balan's forthcoming film The Dirty Picture filming was halted due to Telangana Bandh on Friday and Saturday. The unit had planned the shoots at Ramoji Rao Studio in Hyderabad and cancellation of it cost producer Ekta Kapoor around Rs. 40 lakh.

Reports say that the makers of the film had planned to shoot the scenes involving Vidya Balan, Naseeruddin Shah and Tusshar Kapoor on the bandh days. But they were forced postpone it. The film unit was not prepared for the first day. Hence, the lead stars spent their time at their hotel rooms.

Tusshar Kapoor has admitted that it was cancelled and the unexpected holiday was boring, as he could not do anything but sleep. However, the previous evening he saw Ajay Devgn's Singham. He claims that the movie is well-made. Meanwhile, the actor has to finish three-four days shoots in the current schedule and hopes that it could not be troubled again.

The Dirty Picture features Vidya Balan, Emraan Hashmi, Tusshar Kapoor and Naseeruddin Shah in the lead roles. The film is directed by Milan Luthria and produced by Ekta Kapoor.
