Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is an icon says Heroine Kareena Kapoor

Everyone knows that Kareena Kapoor was the first choice for Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine. But the actor said no to the role initially because of dates problem. Later, the film fell into Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's kitty, who also left the film due to her pregnancy. So, Madhur approached Kareena Kapoor again and this time she said yes to Heroine. So, when Kareena was asked about the comparison between her and Aishwarya, Kareena said that she thinks Aishwarya is an icon.

Talking to a leading daily, Kareena Kapoor said, "Ash is an icon; she is a beauty. She would have done the film differently. And I have approached the role very differently. I don't think I can make any comparisons."

Kareena Kapoor said about her Heroine's role, "Mahi was one of the toughest characters I have played. Mahi is completely imbalanced and she's a grey character all the way. In real life, I'm very balanced. I know exactly what I want out of my career and my personal life."
