Aishwarya Rai, Kareena Kapoor's clash at the Cannes Film Festival

Beauty queen Aishwarya Rai's name seems immoral when it comes to Madhur Bhandarkar's movie Heroine. Reports say Kareena and Aishwarya is all set for a face-off at the Cannes red carpet this year, to be held from May 16 to 27.

While Kareena would be making her debut at the prestigious film festival, in order to promote her upcoming movie Heroine, Ash will represent a leading cosmetic brand. Looking back at the history, the fact as in how Ash was unceremoniously dropped from Heroine due to her hidden pregnancy and later how a furious Bhandarkar roped in Bebo for the role is not an unknown issue.

Though Aishwarya had long back cut off all the ties with Heroine, gossips and controversies have repeatedly linked up Ash with Heroine. Sources also inform that both the actresses won't be walking the red carpet at the Cannes on the same day.
