Despite
having
a
large
number
of
flops
in
his
kitty
when
compared
to
successful
movies
at
the
box
office,
Akshay
Kumar
is
a
very
chilled
man
in
Bollywood.
On
his
failures,
Akshay
says
that
he
is
not
worried
about
them
as
he
just
works
hard
and
leaves
the
result
to
the
audience.
In
an
interview
to
PTI,
Akshay
Kumar
says,
"Flops
don't
bother
me.
I
just
work
harder
in
my
next
film.
Every
human
being
has
to
go
from
high
to
low
from
low
to
high.
If
you
understand
that,
then
you
will
never
have
a
problem.
Seven
years
ago,
I
delivered
14
flops...…
big
deal.
You
just
keep
on
working."
Superstars
like
Salman
Khan,
Shahrukh
Khan,
Ajay
Devgn
have
crossed
Rs
100-crore
mark
at
the
box
office
in
the
first
week.
Despite
having
more
number
of
releases
compared
to
them,
Akki
has
not
been
able
to
achieve
this
mark.
When
asked
about
it,
Akshay
Kumar
says,
"I
was
the
first
guy
whose
film
Singh
is
Kinng
raked
in
Rs
70-80
crore
but
soon
some
other
film
came
in
and
it
was
broken.
Every
year
that
benchmark
is
going
to
increase,
today
it
is
Rs
100
crore,
tomorrow
it
will
Rs
150
or
200
crore,
one
day
after
five
years,
Rs
400
crore
would
seem
less.
So
it
(records)
will
keep
breaking."
Akshay
has
an
eventful
year
this
time,
with
Sajid
Khan's
multi-starrer
comic-caper,
Housefull
2;
Prabhu
Deva's
directorial
venture
Rowdy
Rathore,
where
he
will
be
seen
as
an
action
hero;
Shirish
Kunder's
fantasy
adventure
film
Joker,
action-comedy
Khiladi
786
and
a
heist
drama
Special
Chabbis.
