Akshay Kumar in tough competition with Bengali star

Akshay Kumar's Rowdy Rathore is facing a tough competition from Bengali actor Prosenjeet Chatterjee. Akki will be seen in Rowdy Rathore, that is the remake of Telugu film Vikramarkudu. On the other hand, Prosenjeet also starred in the Bengali remake of the same.

Now that Vikramarkudu will be remade in Hindi and Bengali versions, both the actors are at par with each other. Interestingly, while Sonakshi Sinha will be playing the female lead in Rowdy Rathore, south Bengali actress Richa Ganguly will be seen opposite to Prosenjeet in the Bengali remake.

Prosenjeet's Bengali remake Vikram Singha will be directed by Rajeev. It is produced by Eskay Movies. While Akshay's Rowdy Rathore will be directed by Prabhudeva and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
