Ameesha Patel lies about buying a flat next to Amitabh's Prateeksha

Mumbai: Ameesha Patel recently claimed that she has purchased a 4,000 sq ft flat in Juhu, right next to Amitabh Bachchan's bungalow Prateeksha. However, it has been learnt that she lied and the flat was not purchased but was taken on rent.

A source told a leading daily, "When the Valias (owner of the flat) learnt about Ameesha's impudence, they were shocked. How could she lay claims to their property, when they had only rented it out to her?"

The source further added, "It was quite embarrassing for the Valias to tell Ameesha to drop the plan but eventually, they did. And Ameesha was heartbroken."

Later Ameesha Patel's staff said, "We have done no wrong as such statements are common in the film industry."

Not only this, it has been reported that the owners of the flat have apparently barred her from entering the premises.

Well, Ameesha surely knows how to get free publicity.
