The police informed a leading daily that the accused, Deepak Kevat was caught with Rs 8,000 cash. Kevat was about to flee, when a domestic worker caught him. The help raised an alarm, following which the guards of the bungalow rushed up and caught Kevat and later handed him over to Juhu cops.
Following this incident, Amitabh Bachchan wrote on his blog, "Spent some anxious moments yesterday since we had a break in !"
