Amitabh Bachchan to represent India; will carry London Olympics torch

Mumbai: As a rare honour for the entire nation, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has been invited to be a part of the London Olympics 2012. He will carry the Olympics torch on July 26 in Southwark at 10:30 am.

Amitabh Bachchan will be one of the torchbearers at the Olympics which will start in London on July 26th. This is a great honour for the veteran actor as well as the country. Amitabh will be part of the 32.7 mile relay at the London Olympics 2012.

Other prominent personalities who will participate at the Olympics include: Tom Davis, Jim Anderson, Lawrence Dallaglio, Darren Fitzpatrick, Lewis Moody and Phil Packer.
