Vicky Donor comparing himself with Shahrukh Khan?

Mumbai: Actor Ayushmann Khurana gained immense fame and recognition after his debut movie Vicky Donor. Khurana, who has been a well-known face in the world of television so far, is now quite a popular name even in the Bollywood.

Talking about his gradual success, Ayushmann feels he's glad that "it was a gradual transition from TV to cinema" and he did not achieve success overnight. He's not amongst those television stars, who do not get their due in the film industry. Comparing himself with SRK and Vidya Balan, Khurana told a leading daily, "I broke that perception and before me, Shahrukh Khan and Vidya Balan also did the same."

Ayushmann started his career after he won MTV Roadies Season 2. Khurana have hosted many shows, before receiving his big break in John Abraham's movie Vicky Donor.
