Ranbir
Kapoor,
who
is
basking
in
the
success
of
his
latest
release
Barfi
has
quit
smoking.
The
reason
behind
this
is
the
success
of
Barfi.
It
so
happened
that
Ranbir
Kapoor
and
Anurag
Basu
had
a
bet
that
if
Barfi
will
cross
70
crore,
Ranbir
will
quit
smoking.
A
source
told
a
leading
daily,
"While
shooting
the
film,
Anurag
would
tell
Ranbir
about
the
ill
effects
of
smoking
and
advise
him
to
quit.
He
was
never
preachy.
However,
one
day
they
made
a
very
unusual
bet.
Ranbir
challenged
Basu
that
if
the
film
crosses
Rs
70
crore,
he
would
give
up
smoking."
Barfi
crossed
Rs
75
crore
on
Monday
at
the
Box-Office,
so
Ranbir
kept
his
promise
and
quit
smoking.
Not
long
ago,
Ranbir
Kapoor
was
fined
for
smoking
in
public
for
the
shooting
of
Yeh
Jawani
Hai
Deewani.
But
now
his
fans
can
take
a
sigh
of
relief
as
the
actor
has
finally
quit
smoking.
Well,
we
are
impressed
Ranbir!
