Bollywood's who's who recently attended Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at Salman Khan's residence in Bandra. Salman Khan is celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi at his house from past 11 years.

Actors like Arjun Kapoor, Sridevi with husband Boney Kapoor, Preity Zinta, Bipasha Basu, Kirron Kher, Dolly Bindra, Amrita Arora and Neelam attended the Ganesh pooja. Other film personality which made their presence felt include, singer Roop Kumar Rathod, Anu Malik, Kishan Kumar and producer Ramesh Taurani.

Talking to a leading daily, Salman Khan's mother Salma Khan said, "We brought in Lord Ganesha 11 years ago because Arpita (Salman's little sister) insisted. She was very keen and took it upon herself to organise every detail of the festival. As she promised, she has been organising it single-handedly every year since then."

Salman Khan's sister Alvira Khan recalls, "Though it wasn't celebrated at home, Ganpati was great fun. Salman bhai, Arbaaz bhai, Sohail and I would run down the street to join the Ganpati processions that would halt before our house. We would participate in the aarti dance."
