Bollywood condoles death of Riteish's father Vilasrao Deshmukh

Actor Riteish Deshmukh is a close friend of almost all big stars in the Hindi film industry. The sudden death of his father Vilasrao Deshmukh has shocked many in Bollywood. Immediately after the shocking news started spreading on internet, several B-Town celebrities took to social networking sites to offer their condolences to his family.

Actor Akshay Kumar, who has worked with Riteish in Housefull and Housefull 2, recalled Vilasarao's vision to convert Mumbai into a Shanghai. The actor posted on twitter, "The man who had Mumbai's Shanghai dream is no more. RIP Vilasrao Deshmukh ji, a visionary and the father of my dear friend @Riteishd. May God give you strength."

Talking to NDTV, Shahrukh Khan, who has worked with Riteish in Om Shanti Om, expressed his sorrow over his father's death. He said, "I'm feeling very sorry. I have known him for years. Riteish is a close friend of mine. I spoke to him. I am very sad, it is very unexpected, he was a wonderful gentleman, apart from being the chief minister, he was a very wonderful person. My respects to the family. I am deeply disturbed."

Several other biggies took to their Twitter accounts to express their shock over his sad demise. Madhuri Dixit tweeted, "Sorry to hear that Vilasrao Deshmukh has passed away. Our condolences go out to his family."
