Diary Of A Butterfly maker gets threatening calls from Pakistan

Producer Manoj Nandwana has revealed that they have been getting threatening calls from Pakistan to stop releasing their film Diary Of A Butterfly, which is based on the Nira Radia 2G scam. Along with Anil Dalmia, Manoj has now filed a complaint at the Oshiwara Police Station in Mumbai.

Manoj Nandwana says that since February 20, he has been getting phone calls and abusive messages from a lady named Rehana D'Souza from Pakistan. The producer adds that she has asked him not to release the film and she warned him to be ready to face the consequences, if he releases the movie.

Diary Of A Butterfly, starring Udita Goswami and Rati Agnihotri in the leads, is slated to release on 2nd March. Since the movie is inspired by the Nira Radia case, the makers think that many people are against bringing the case to the big screen, so there are some shades of political lobbying on its release.
