Dibakar Banerjee has all praise for Abhay, Emraan, Kalki

After making movies like Khosla Ka Ghosla and Oye Lucky Lucky Oye, director Dibakar Banerjee is here with yet another thriller Shangai, which is based on the movie Z. The director, who has cast some brilliant yet unconventional talents for the film, cannot stop praising Abhay Deol, Emraan Hashmi, Prosenjit Chatterjee and Kalki Koechlin.

His upcoming movie Shanghai is already doing the rounds as the biggest thriller of the year and is based on the political scenario of India. The best part of this ensemble of cast and crew is that they are all praise for each other. Abhay Deol said, “Dibakar is one of the finest directors. I had the opportunity to work with him in 'Oye Lucky Lucky Oye". I love the way he creates his own world through his scripts. He has a brilliant way of telling stories."

Dibakar couldn"t stop being happier with his star cast more than this. Sources quoted him saying, "I'm happy these guys trusted my script and went with their gut, doing a 180 degree turn-around with their existing images. Who'd have imagined Abhay playing a South Indian, sporting a moustache, or Emraan moving totally away from his romantic image? Besides these two, I also think two other actors who are brilliant are Bengal's superstar Prosenjit, and Kalki Koechlin."

Now, with all the hype built around the movie, the fans are waiting with eager anticipation, for the movie to release. PVR Pictures will be releasing the movie Shanghai on June 8, 2012.
