following
kidney
related
issue.
The
Bollywood
filmmaker,
who
had
directed
Shahrukh
Khan
and
Akshay
Kumar
in
hit
films
Deewana
and
Andaaz,
was
suffering
from
a
kidney
ailment.
Raj
Kanwar
entered
the
Bollywood
as
an
assistant
director
through
the
movie
Ram
Avtar
in
1988.
Later,
Raj
Kanwar
took
up
direction
and
directed
Shahrukh
Khan
and
late
Divya
Bharti
in
the
movie
Deewana
in
1992.
Shahrukh
Khan
tweeted,
"My
friend
raj
kanwarji
passed
away.
The
impermanence
of
life,
makes
one
feel
so
helpless.
May
his
soul
rest
in
peace.
Aisi
Deewangi..miss
u
sir."
Later,
Raj
Kanwar
wrote
scripts
for
several
films
and
directed
films
like
Jeet,
Laadla,
Kartavya,
Jaan,
Itihaas,
Daag:
The
Fire,
Badal,
Har
Dil
Jo
Pyar
Karega,
Dhaai
Akshar
Prem
Ke,
Humko
Deewana
Kar
Gaye
and
Andaaz.
His
last
film
was
Sadiyaan:
Boundries
Divide
Love
Unites,
which
had
launched
Shatrughan
Sinha's
son
Luv
in
2010.
