Mumbai:
Producer
Ekta
Kapoor
has
postponed
the
release
date
of
her
most
ambitious
project
Shootout
at
Wadala.
Sanjay
Gupta
directed
movie
was
earlier
scheduled
to
release
on
December
7.
But
the
TV
and
film
producer
says
she
delayed
its
release
in
a
bid
to
avoid
its
Box
Office
clash
with
Aamir
Khan's
Talaash.
Now,
she
wants
her
movie
to
hit
the
screens
in
2013.
Aamir
Khan's
upcoming
movie
Talaash
is
one
of
the
most-awaited
Bollywood
movies
of
the
year
2012.
The
release
of
the
film
has
been
delayed
due
to
Mr
Perfectionist's
debut
TV
show
Satyameva
Jayate.
Now,
it
is
slated
to
hit
the
screens
across
the
globe
on
November
30.
Talaash
is
next
biggest
outing
of
Aamir,
after
the
huge
success
of
3
Idiots
and
his
fans
are
desperately
waiting
to
watch
it.
So
Ekta
Kapoor
does
not
want
to
compete
with
this
big-ticket
movie
Talaash.
Talking
to
PTI,
the
producer
said,
"As
Talaash
is
releasing
on
November
30,
how
could
we
release
our
film
that
time.
I
don't
want
to
compete
with
him...absolutely
not.
How
can
we
decide
to
take
on
the
mammoth
Aamir
Khan?"
Shootout
at
Wadala
is
a
sequel
to
the
2007
film

Lokhandwala,
in
which
Sonu
Sood
plays
the
role
of
the
underworld
don
Dawood
Ibrahim,
John
Abraham
plays
gangster
Manya
Surve,
while
Anil
Kapoor
plays
ACP
Isaque
Bagwan.
The
film
also
stars
Kangna
Ranaut,

Kapoor
and

Roy.
On
the
other
hand,
Talaash,
which
is
directed
by
Reema
Kagti,

Aamir
Khan,
Kareena
Kapoor
and
Rani
Mukherjee
in
the
lead
roles.

earlier

this
year,

postponed
