Rain storm hits the sets of Imran Khan-Anushka Sharma's film

A massive rain storm hit Punjab region recently where the unit of Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola film was shooting. The lead pair of the film Imran Khan and Anushka Sharma were also present on the sets, but both of them are safe.

The shoot of Vishal Bhardwaj's film was happening on the field and due to heavy rain and storm, a 20 feet light tower fell on the shooting spot. Five unit members got injured in this incident.

The situation was so bad that the unit members carried the injured members on their shoulders to a safe place as no transport was available due to blocked roads.

Almost 90 percent of the film shooting was over, but the director of the film Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola has decided not to start the shooting before the unit members recover.

Imran Khan will be paired opposite Anushka Sharma for the first time in the movie Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola. Earlier, Ajay Devgan was supposed to be cast as the main lead in the film, but later he refused to do it.

Imran Khan plays Matru, husband of Bijlee, who is on a journey to meet his family. And Anushka Sharma plays Bijlee, a psycho chick in this film.
