Imran Khan to gain weight for Once Upon A Time In Mumbai sequel

Bollywood actor Imran Khan, known for his chocolate boy looks, is playing a baddie in the sequel of the 2010 film, Once Upon A Time In Mumbai. The actor, who is playing a don in parallel lead with Akshay Kumar has been asked to put on weight.

Milan Luthria, the director of the film, has told Imran Khan to gain weight of at least 5 kg to effectively portray the role of a gangster.

In a recent interview to a leading daily, Milan Luthria said that he believes Imran Khan is a committed actor and he will go great distance to achieve the look of what Milan has in mind. He told that it will require a strict dietary regimen and extended endurance training.

Milan further added that he wants to give Imran Khan's character an edge so that he looks shockingly different and makes everyone sit up and take notice.

Imran Khan is very excited to do this role. He said that he is thrilled to be a part of Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Sequel and he will make sure that he will keep up Milan Luthria's words.

Imran Khan will start his training after he finishes the shooting of Vishal Bhardwaj's film Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola.
