The
music
of
Madhur
Bhandarkar's
much-awaited
film
Heroine
was
launched
amidst
chaos
at
the
Siddhivinayak
Temple
in
Central
Mumbai
on
Thursday.
At
the
launch,
Kareena
Kapoor
got
mobbed
by
the
crowd,
which
created
many
security
problems.
Reflecting
a
lack
of
coordination
between
temple
authorities
and
police,
the
event
turned
out
to
be
very
chaotic
as
fans
and
media
persons,
who
had
gathered
in
large
numbers,
jostled
for
space
at
the
heavily-guarded
shrine
which
is
crowded
on
any
given
day.
Due
to
the
disorder,
the
organisers
could
not
hold
the
customary
interaction
with
the
media
at
the
venue.
Bhandarkar,
known
for
his
presentation
of
contemporary
subjects
on
celluloid,
is
a
frequent
visitor
to
the
temple,
where
he
had
launched
the
music
of
his
2008
film
Fashion.
Dressed
in
a
yellow
salwar
kameez,
Kapoor
thanked
everyone
who
had
come
for
the
event.
Kapoor
plays
the
character
of
actor
Mahi
Arora
in
her
latest
movie,
which
revolves
around
the
ups
and
downs
in
the
life
of
a
superstar.
The
film,
directed
and
co-produced
by
Bhandarkar,
is
slated
for
release
on
September
21,
which
also
happens
to
be
Kapoor's
birthday.
Heroine
also
stars
Arjun
Rampal,
Randeep
Hooda,
Shahana
Goswami
and
Divya
Dutta,
among
others.
