Kareena, Madhur celebrate Friendship Day on Heroine set

Several Bollywood stars celebrated Friendship Day yesterday, but director Madhur Bhandarkar and actress Kareena Kapoor made this day with a special celebration. They invited the kids of Smile Foundation on the sets of Heroine and exchanged friendship bands with them.

Elated Kareena Kapoor said that it was first time she was sharing friendship band with somebody. The actress said, "I have never celebrated Friendship Day before this and no one has ever given me a friendship band. This is my first and I am so glad it is. I couldn't have asked for a better beginning to the day."

Meanwhile, Madhur Bhandarkar also seemed to be very excited to celebrate Friendship Day with children. He described it as his best Friendship Day celebration. The director said, "I am delighted to see these kids on my set. And now I am friends with all of them. It is truly my best Friendship Day celebration."

However, Madhur Bhandarkar, who is all set to complete the shooting of the movie Heroine soon, gave away chocolates to all the kids, who in-return, gave friendship certificates to him and Kareena Kapoor. What a better way to celebrate the day of friendship!
